    Starting to re-assemble my 289

Bruce Bunn returned my body on Saturday. The color is right on... Guardsman blue and wimbledon white stipes... Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Bruce got the body on 2/25, so it was fast AND good! Not something you expect.

I spent Sunday starting to reassemble it with my 12 yr old daughter (she fits in the footboxes better than I do) riveting on the heatshields and reinstalling the pedals. I have now also reinstalled the rear brake lines and put in the oil cooler and started on the wire harness and MSD box.

It's fun to see that now at every step it starts looking more like a car!!!

    Well Chill...you did good.
    Never mind that beautiful car.
Look at that lovely clean garage...even got pictures on the wall.
Do you perform heart surgery in there in your spare time.?
Enjoy the rest of the build.
