Wasn't it like two or three days ago that you decided to take off the Webers??? Man you work fast. I've been looking at a new air cleaner I bought a month ago, and haven't been able to get around to installing it yet.

Judging from the time it took you to complete this task, I'd say you have a good twenty minutes of work left to do. I figure I could have my car up there by Monday. Should I wait until Tuesday just to give you time to relax? We don't want you to be bored again.

Would you believe I have a coffee maker in the garage and I finished degree the cam at 2am on thursday?

    Kelly......K.M.A

Phil, I totally agree. But I needed the $$ to put the motor back together and I can always buy them again. Now that they are making them "new" again in Spain getting them is no big deal.

Steve, just make sure you bring plenty of Bourbon.

I do better work that way.[B)] At least on your car I would. [8D]

You should have some sort of warning around the engine compartment before you blind someone!

    Steve,

    The new cam is .651 lift , 260 duration at .050 , on a 110 center , solid lifter

It should put out 300 HP or so
Maybe 200 at the rear wheels

Naw, I'm not surprised you have a coffee maker in your garage..... I wouldn't be surprised if you had a bed and a plasma sceen in there either, 'cause you have to be spending a whole lot time out there. Unless, of course, you have a tribe of elves as assistants Again, that mills a beauty [^]

    Brent,

I keep coming back to this topic to look at the photos. You are quite the craftsman! While I miss the Webers, that is one handsome motor [^]

After a full day on sunday she is running again. Did you hear it Ralph?

The turkey pan still needs major work before it gets mounted.

    Brent,
That sure is a beautiful mill.

Looking at the pictures reminds me of a question that I have had since homecoming...Why don't you FE guys run a PCV valve? I see that you have two valve cover breathers and one on the intake manifold. Is the intake plumbed for ventilation? I have never seen such a thing on a small block, although I haven't looked for it specifically.
