    Fuel Line Plumbing

These are some photo's of the fuel line from the tank to a fuel filter and then to a flow through electric fuel pump and to the hard line.

Tank, use a steel fiting in the aluminum tank and seal with Permatex Aviation Sealant.

Thanks for the pictures. It does help. Did you put any brackets on the line from the front of the engine where the steel line ends to the carbs? I don't have any, I ran steel up the front of the engine and then a short piece of flex hose.

    Just curious,
Where is the other smaller wire coming off your ground bolt going?

    Thanks again

    Scott,

The ground wire you see is for the electric fuel pump.
From my fuel pump to the engine is a hard line going to an orginal 427 inline gas filter and then a hard line to a fuel log that has braided fabric and rubber fuel lines to the dual outlet 3310 Holley. I duplicated the original 427 S/C car with a Turkey Pan and a single 4. See the engine pictures posted previously on this site.

    Rick,

I always enjoy see pictures of your car. In a word - "immaculate". Do you buy Southern Shine by the drum as I do Sonoco Purple?

I have some things I want to do on the car and this just gets the itch going all the more stronger. Thanks for sharing [^]

What fittings did you use to the hard line?I am making up my lines
with Earl's fittings but didn't see any that would go to hard line.
If this should be moved to a new topic let me know.

They make an adapter that goes on the 3/8" hard line and converts it to AN applications.
I used Aeroquip, think they are called hard tube adapters, I used a number 06 AN to a 3/8". You can get male or female ends, I know JEGS and Summit carry them. I picked them up at a local Speed Shop.
