Is anyone familiar with the line of LANGKA products that are used for chip and scratch repair on the newer paints???

Al, I bought the kit a year or so back to patch some gravel dings. They certainly make it sound easier than it is (at least for me). Some of you artisians might make it work. Getting the holes filled isn't difficult, I could never get the paint to look right.

Thanks Tony,
I've got a kit on the way and I'm going to give it a try. Unfortunately I'm no artisian so I've already got one foot on a banana. And yes, they sure do make it sound easy[:P]

Mike, the Langka system if more focused on making the touch-up job look less like touch-up. You fill in the chip hole with paint so that it creates a dome, let it dry and use the Langka paste to smooth out the dome and remove the touch paint everywhere except specifically in the hole. If you have patience, you can probably do a pretty jam up job. I wouldn't know.

The 'Langka System'...uhm.
Well I've been using touch up paint and car polish to do the same
thing for years......I should call it the 'Mikey System'

I think I'm going to go with the "Mikey" system....
Where do I drop off the car and when can I have it back?

I use base coat then clear coat 2000 grit wet to flatten then polish I use a artist paint brush like the kind you find in a kid's paint set.

Al...Don't drop your car off here....It's not that I wouldn't do the
paint trick for you.....It's just that you would not get it back till
next April / May.....when all the snow has finally melted.
Ralph...I think we must go to the same paint store for our brushes.
MaGuires Cleaner / Polish is very close to the 2000 grit you are
using.
