    Dutton Performance and Eric Miller

After living with no power in my cobra since the beginning 2003 (long story) I decided to pull my grocery getter and see where my power was going.I remembered hearing of Dutton Performance when I was looking for someone to do my engine work in 2002.So I called Alan to get their number and made an appointment. All I can say is this was the best experience that I could of asked for.We broke down my engine and saw the things that were wrong.Dan and I talked about the things that I wanted and he gave me his advice. So I decided to let him do the project. He worked me into his schedule and the finished results are well I think are perfect[^].I can not say enough about Dan's quality and integrity. He spent 3 days just breaking in & fine tuning this engine and I don't know how much time on all the rest of it.So here are my engine specs and Dyno results.

I had the good fortune to be at Dan Dutton's shop on Thursday last week to meet him, to meet Eric, and to see these dyno tests being run. I must say that I was extremely impressed with the way this engine ran. This thing was so smooth, from idle to 7110 rpm! It just sounded sweeeet[:P].

I was also impressed with Dan, his shop, with Mike (one of Dan's employees who toured me through the place), and with Dan's knowledge.

I am working with Dan to develop a conversion process for the older 351W blocks to use the one-piece rear-main seal[^]. He is planning to do a prototype in the next week or so. I will let you know how it goes.

Congratulations Eric on the new motor... and be very careful with it. We want a full report on the results once it is back in place.

That is a really nice torque and power curve for a camshaft that large. Good matched parts.

    Thanks for info.
