One of the first projects I want to tackle once I take delivery of my Unique 289 is to replace the stock brake and clutch pedals with AC pedals. Any one out there done the same thing? I am interested in your suggestions as to how to install these.

Thanks for your info in advance.

I have some I never figured out. There was a thread on Club Cobra (it could have been here), and someone did a really great job mounting them and showing pictures. Do a search and you'll find it.

I mounted the AC pedals directly on top of the standard pedals using 2 screws in each pedal. First, on each AC pedal I drilled two holes in the slotted area, one in upper part and other in lower part of pedal. I then drilled two corresponding holes into the standard pedal. I ground part of each screw head off to make a narrower head that fits tightly into AC pedal slot and will not turn. Top screw is about an inch long and lower one is about 2 inches, allowing AC pedal to be mounted closer at the top than bottom, producing an pedal angle comfortable for my feet. If you're coming to Open House this weekend, I'm bringing my car and will be glad to show you.
