    juanone 289 carbuild 07

    Well the car is finally painted. These photos were taken shortly after the car was taken out of the paint booth. While the photos of the doors, trunk and hood are more like the color the car is, the photos taken outdoors look a bit orange due to the metalflake content of the paint.

    The engine compartment is going to be a shiny silver metallic paint.

    The starbursts are natural, I did not add them in. The painter is going to send me photos of the car when the sun is not so bright.

    Hi Phil:

    The team stripe would not look good in the street version look I am trying to achieve. If I was to replicate the FIA look I would replicate Butch Capp's look except with a yellow stripe.
