We finally get the turnkey minus home to Rick's house. We picked the car up at Butch Capp's home where his lovely wife, Tammy , treated us to a wonderful meal at lunch time. We were joined by Tony Lewis and Ralph Scott, who were as excited as I was to see the car for the first time.
In the above photo the beauty next to me is my wife Cindy, who is as excited as I am of finally having the car at least that much closer to our home.
The color of the car is , how should I describe it , stunning. The different light conditions during the day gives the car a different character at different times. Our next pictures will be during the engine installation later on this coming week.
Enjoy.

Juan, it's great to see a picture of you and your lovely Cindy. The previous photos of the car looked great, but with your camera work, it's now totally STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With a different camera, the color of the car looks different - darker and deeper. It's beautiful! Now I'm really envious...

Looks great doesn't! Like the Memorex ads of old "can you be sure it is real?" It could be another of Juan's excellent photoshop renderings,, but it is not!! It is the real deal and looks better up close. Juan got to drive the car (into the trailer) as we provided the muscle. Not sure that if given the option he would have stayed in the car all the way to Louisville. [8D]
