    trim ring question

    question on an original car shifter boot trim ring. are the screws at 2,4,8, and 10 o'clock like photo 1 or 12,3,6, and 9 like photo 2? maybe i have been hanging around the corvette NCRS guys too long.

    I found two photos in "AC Cobra" by Rinsey Mills that show it mounted as in photo #1. One is of a 427 S/C the other a small block British right hand drive.

    Guess I got lucky when I mounted mine... didn't really think about it (10 - 2 - 4 - 6)
