    Fundraiser '06 - update

    Hi All,

    Below is the first update of contributors as of November 7. There are a few names missing that are obvious to me , and most likely others that aren't so obvious. Hopefully those checks are in the mail.

    Please...... consider pitching in a couple of bucks if you receive any value from this site - whether it is an answer to a question, doing research using past topics, enjoying the photos, helping others.......even if it simply provides some (warped ) entertainment value.

    Thanks again for organizing this...What's our total look like, and what goal do we need to reach to upgrade our site software? I'd hate to lose all knowledge that is here.

    The list includes PayPal and checks received as of Nov 7. You might shoot Patrick and e-mail (pbrown@sla.com) with the name on the account to verify (be sure to include your forum user name in any transaction, i.e. pgermond).

    I agree with you completely. It would be a crime to loose all the knowledge that this forum has generated over the past few years - that is the reason for this fundraiser... so the active members can insure that doesn't happen.     Hey Guys,

    At this time a couple of years ago it was a$$ hole$ and elbows putting my car together - this forum was invaluable in making it all come together. The least I can do is help keep it going. Besides, I have some spare time on my hands now

    I would like to once again thank everyone for their generosity in seeing that this forum lives on for those of us that are already here, and for those that will follow us. The information that has been compiled in the archives over the last couple of years, as well as eliminating what would most likely be hundreds of phone calls and e-mails to the Weaver's is, in my opinion, well worth a few bucks.

    With that said, if you are reading this and your name isn't listed under "Friends of Unique", get off the dime and cough up a couple of clams (you know who you are)..... it's time for some serious arm twisting (PM's will be next)!

    BTW - thanks Gasman.... I figured it was a senior moment (what about those grits?)
