    Later..... I see in my User CP "edit signature" that the IMG is turned off.....

    Yep, I think that needs to be turned on for the image to appear in a signature.

    It should be just like any other photo attachment. The photo needs to be sized appropriately for the forum. When I was testing earlier, I tried to load a file that was too large. I haven't figured out the limits yet. The photo I posted earlier was linked via IMG tags and not uploaded.

    OK........it seems that needs to be reset too. I'm sure Patrick will get to it.

    Images in signatures are disabled. You can. however, add an avatar just like the old forum.

    Click on the 'manage attachments' button when posting. It will display the types of files allowed and the max sizes. I have the image size set to 250KB. Images are configured to display as thumbnails in posts to help the download speeds. Those with slow Internet connections will like that feature. Just click the thumbnail to see the full sized image.
