    Tire to Wheel well lip..

After viewing all the great looking cars in the gallery section, I've noticed some differences in rear tire to wheel well lip relationship among different cars. When considering either Vintage or Trigo pin drives and Unique's "narrowed" rear option, is it safe to assume that the "sunken in" look of the originals can be achieved?

    Thanks in advance!

Most of the Unique 427s w/ pin drives I have seen have the look you are looking for. Just tell them what you want and they will take care of it. Having Unique build my car was a wonderfull experience, I couldn't belive how smooth things went.

It also depends on the tire size. Most seem to run 60s series on the rear.
I am running 50s. the 60s are taller than the 50s.

    Talking Rims

    I also run 50's at the back...295 50's and 60's up front..265 60's...15 inch rims.
Make sure you get adequate back space on the rims...5.5 inch and 3.5 inch
seem to ring a bell for rear and front repectively.

Any less than 5.5 on the back and you'll probably be rubbing the wheel arches
    with a 295.

Well mine rub the arches ( much to my wifes annoyance.)

I'm running the 295/50 rear and 235/60 front 15 inch rims on Trigos.

No rubbing but both of these tires are the same diameter 26.5 inches.

I noticed Clay Foushee is running 295/60 rear and 245/60 front 15 inch rims on Compomotive wheels. His tires have a noticable taller sidewall than my tires.
They also fill out his wheel wells, but no rubbing.
The Weavers would know the offset of his rims.
