As a 20 year+ Unique owner I can tell you that you will not be dissapointed. Since I "built" my car in the beginning and am now in the middle of a complete rebuild I can offer one suggestion. Consider getting the Weavers to do as much as possable or at least supply you with as much of what you need as possable. Buying parts one at a time is a pain and the shipping will kill you. The Weavers only supply quality parts and they will treat you well. As far as the difference between ERA and Unique they are very different but the result is the same. For myself the extra cost of an ERA would be best spent having Unique build you as complete car as possable. The ERA is an excellent car and I would be happy to own one but I am a fan of Unique and especially of the Weavers.

Both ERA and Unique are quality products. Both are strong and built to last. Both companies provide excellent customer support. They are both replicas, and as such, I simply couldn't justify spending the significant extra money on the ERA. You're really not getting anything for that added expenditure.
