Emissions test
I have finally made some progress on registering a Cobra in Dubai. Got to see the head guy today who gave me the nod subject to passing the standard annual inspection. The only problem is that involves an emissions test. Will there be any problem getting a 351w through an emissions test probably geared to catalytic converter and fuel injected engines.? How do you do it in the states, are there exemptions for certain engines? I am still waiting to find out the CO limits for Dubai. Should know by tomorrow.
Cheers,
DC

Check to see if a early, say 69-72 block has less requirements than a later engine. In the US most states go by the year of the engine so the older the better.

In Pennsylvania the emissions equipment must correct for the year of the engine. My engine is a 1966 FE with an emissions correct PCV valve.
