Front Bumper Installation

Experience Needed;

I am trying to install the front bumpers and center oval bar. I cut the Finishline grommets to fit flat to the body opening. So far so good at that point. When I went install the center oval piece I encountered a real challenge. They do not begin to line up in a way that lets them fit between the two bumpers. Even with the bumper rods loosened at the frame brace, I cannot twist the two far enough to get the oval to fit between the bumpers. Is there a secret install trick ??

I still need a little assist on where to start in getting the front bumpers bars to fit properly.

Did you get the oval from us, if you did it should fit fine. If you bought from Finishline it won't come close to fitting, theirs is not like the original.

Hello Alan,

I bought the front setup from Unique. The problem is the oval mounts appear to be a good one inch wider than the two bumpers. Would it be easier to assemble the parts completely and then try to slide them into the body openings?

You need to assemble the bumper off the car then install.
