This picture was taken to determine the extra height needed for my roll bar. The fellow in the car is 6'4" and the bar is well over his head. We decided to lower it about 2" so that it wouldn't look odd!

I think the original cars had rollbars that were higher than a Unique. Even if it ends up a bit odd with the 2" drop -Form Follows Function - You have to protect your mellon.

Your absolutely right about protecting the mellon! That is why I wanted the bar at least 3" higher than normal.

I have designed and market a "quick release windshield kit" for ffr and other cobra kits and think that I can easily adapt it to work with the Unique chassis. I definitely will run the competition windscreen on the track but will keep the full windshield for the street.
