    Question Wilwood Brakes

I finally got my front wheels and tires together and mounted the calipers for a mock-up. While cleaning the rotors and hubs I peeked behind the hub and noticed that all the fasteners are drilled for safety wire. I had intended to wire the caliper bolts but should I do all the others too or is that over-kill for street use?

Yes you absolutely need to safety wire the bolts on the front brake assembly. I have seen one owners car where they were not wired and it was a very close call. We ended up replacing the rotor. It could have been bad.

    Unhappy

Thanks, guys. I was hoping I didn't need it as I don't get much time at home to work on the car, but I'd rather do it right now than have to fix the car (and me) later. And, just in case you haven't heard it yet, have a Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to you Bill! I'm old enough to still use the "belt and suspenders" phrase more often than perhaps I should.
