    Homecoming 2008 Photo's

Here are just a few shots taken on Friday evening at the dinner. Brian's car (think it's time to drop the Spence Car label) is the dark blue 289 with the team stripe 2 views.

AMEN to that! As much work as the Carlsons have done, it is time the "Spence" moniker disappeared for good.

A question for Brian: what number are you thinking about for the meatballs?

    Smile I don't agree

    Thanks for the pics.

I think it is fitting to let everyone know that

"The Legendary Spence Car" lives and that it was not an impossible car to build.

If we forget the past it will repeat itself.

It can be "Brian's Legendary Spence Car"

    Amen Brother!

I am all for the car to be known as the "Carlson Cobra" or "Brian / Bill's Car". I think the time that we spent building it should have de-Spence-ifyed it for good.

As for the meatball, the number would have to be 92 for a couple reasons. The MSO on the car was written in 1992 even though the chassis number bears a 1991 number. (9122) Also, 92 is a combination and/or transposition of my birth date (Feb 9th - 2/9) and my Dad's (Sept 2nd - 9/2).

it should just be indentified by a symbol and be known as " the legend formerly known as spence". (kind of a spin on the musician "prince" for those of you that havent figured it out already) whatever its called, its a fine automobile. later, brian.

    Thumbs up Carlson's Cobra

Well Brian, it looks like you need a coming out party.

It is your car and whatever you call her that will be it.

    Thumbs up Some more pics...

I made nearly 200 pics, but am a little disappointed with a lot of them. First time out with a new camera, and I literally had not had time to look at the manual. Here are a few of the good ones, though.

There are some good detail shots. Then, a pic of the dessert spread on Friday night (WOW!), the cars rolling down Broad Street, Rick Weaver playing/singing, and the Unique crowd out where Rick was set up.

My wife was partial to the Buffett numbers they sang, but they did some doggone fine Bob Seger (Down on Main Street)...
