    Thumbs up Gran Torino

Cheryl and I went to see the movie yesterday.......great movie.

I would highly recommend this to everyone....only Clint Eastwood could do it.

    Korean War Vet, Silver Star

Takes place in Detoit Area, retired Ford employee, UAW, wife has justed passed away.

Three Prized possions in my opinion, 1972 Gran Torino, Cobra Jet, M1 Garand, and a Colt 1911 45 Auto.

Your emotions will go from one end to the other.........Great movie for the kids, a lot to be learned.

There has been a lot of positive word-of-mouth on this flick, so count me in.

That care reminds me of an early 70's Ranchero GT that I once lusted after.

    Torino

Never had a Torino but the M1 Garand and the 1911 are about as good as you get.

The wife and I will see it this weekend.

My son saw it yesterday and had to call to tell the old man to get out and see it.

Guess there's no stopping it now....

Finally got some weather rolling through, so I took my bride to see the movie. Rick's post is right on. Coming home, listen to the radio, I thought I heard that it had not been nominated for a single award - unbelievable! . I suppose it was not politically correct enough for those dope snorting, fudge packing, self-centered #$@!&*+~L that make up the nominating committee.
