    Try 289FIA, or 289 FIA and 427 S/C

427 SC (note the absence of "/") does not show up belonging to anyone.

When I put in 289 FIA it changes to FIA 289.

289FIA does not show up as well

The search area I was useing is a basic search. It comes with this warning.

WARNING: AFTER SEARCHING THE USPTO DATABASE, EVEN IF YOU THINK THE RESULTS ARE "O.K.," DO NOT ASSUME THAT YOUR MARK CAN BE REGISTERED AT THE USPTO. AFTER YOU FILE AN APPLICATION, THE USPTO MUST DO ITS OWN SEARCH AND OTHER REVIEW, AND MIGHT REFUSE TO REGISTER YOUR MARK

I'm not sure if it covers pending applications as well.

    Thanks.
So, correct me if I'm wrong, 427 S/C is owned by the chicken farmer but 427 SC is open. And I'm still not sure about 289 FIA.

    Thanks for checking

Thats what it looks likes. the Question would be how the USPTO looks at it.

I don't wish to dwell on my concerns here but the merit of filing suit is really not an issue dealing with this person. The intent is to put pressure on someone to make them go away. The prudent course seems to be to not provide any venue for Shelby to file a suit. I have always liked this forum and would hate to see it go away. Thinking/hoping you are under his radar does not seem like a good approach based on his past actions.

After reading everybody's thoughts above, I looked up Al Capone in the encyclopedia and saw a picture of CH next to him. Al knew how to put fear into people without having to do anything. If you did a word search on "blackmail" I wonder who's name would show up.
