Incredible, I can't imagine having that much fabrication skill. I read through all 14 pages and wanted 14 more, this is one unbelievable endeavor!

    Thanks for the link, Brent!

Building the jig its self takes a lot of thought and time. Brent and I have a good friend here in Souther,IN that has a talent beyond belief in his fabricating and building abilities. Mat Wrights, BRC Racecrafts. he's a one man band, working out of his home. For those of you that have seen me and brent's race cars have seen some of his work. Not sure about brents, as brent most likely did a lot of his own work, but on mine, Matt did EVERYTHING from building the jig, bending his own chromolly tubing [not from a chassis kit], wiring, headers and even the paint. The only thing he didn't do was build the engine and trans. I went from an 8 second car to a car running in low 5's and a 1.5 sec, 60' time and it acted as if it was on rails. his welding looks as if it was performed by a robot, he could probably weld a pop can! One of the neatest cars to ever come out of his shop was a ford maverick with a four speed and a 6 cylinder that i've seen matt grab 2nd gear while the front end was still dangling in the air from the launch. I'd love to drive it! When it comes to impressive builds, I wish I had half the talent Mat and Brent have, impressive to say the least.

He obviously doesn't own a television.

It's great that he took so many photos.

    Thumbs up

Wow.. the guy must be a genius to be able to keep it all planned out and executed so well... the DaVinci of car fabricators! Maybe a new nickname. Thanks Brent for the link

WOW!! That is incredibly cool. He has real staying power.

I only had time to glance through it. Did he say where the body came from, or did he make that, too?

    Fantastic!

I saw no mention of where he sourced the body. The photos of it showed raw edges around the wheelwells.....looked like a 3' feather duster along each wheel arch!

Ya, I saw that, and that is what got me wondering if he had somehow done that as well.

Regardless, he is more than a fabricator... he's an artist!

I think this guy has been around aircraft and Indy Car fabrication.....way professional. Over my head in ability for sure. Has some in's on a CNC machine also.
