    C6 Small Block transmission

Along the way I picked up a C6 small block transmission. They are rather hard to find. This one has been in my basement for about 10 years. Air conditioned. The transmission still has fluid in it. As you can see I have the dip stick and tube as well. $250.00

ThanksRick, full price on everything I posted to the forum. Craigslist works. We also had a two day garage sale this weekend and sold out. All I had left was what I could put in the back of the expedition, behind the rear seats. That stuff went to Goodwill. Big Stuff off of my "honey dew list". Now I can get back to my cars!!

    Cars

Put new skins on the Fairlane with new master/booster and wheel cylinders. Had new exhaust installed from manifold back, the 42 year old one was leaking. Runs great! The little 289 with the 2.79 rear end isn't a powerhouse but runs nicely at 70 mph and rides a lot better than I would have guessed.

Gentelman I got it from told me it had been in a barn for about 30 years, The tires that came off of it were made in 1977. Our next money pit!

    Pics

I actually haven't taken any yet. Car is pretty solid without any major rust just surface stuff. It is the most complete car I've ever saw right down to the 289 sticker on the air cleaner and the purchase order behind the back seat.

I'm supposed to go out of town this weekend but if that cancels I'll take some pics this weekend and post them.

Best part of all it's Red, won't have to do a color change.
