    Bellhousing

Anyone have a Ford 427 BB mated to a TKO 600? If so or if you know what bellhousing would/did you use?

    bellhousing

I converted from the toploader 4-speed to the TKO-600. I used the same Lakewood bellhousing (#15210). I ordered the TKO-600 with a shortened input shaft. You can also use the standard input shaft on the TKO-600 with an adapter plate between the bellhousing and the transmission. The shortened input shaft and the adapter were the same price about a year ago when I made the change ($150). Modern Driveline has a good web site and provides good service before and after the purchase. I am also running a modified T5 by Modern Driveline in a falcon. Very satisified.
    Good luck with your project.
