    Fair Engine Price

I am thinking of looking for a 351 Cleveland 4V. What is a fair price for a rebuildable engine?

    351 Price $?

So many options to discuss. What do you want the engine for? Road race, drag race, grocery getter, show?
I did, and would strongly recomend to you, speak with Southern Automotive in Atlanta, GA. Call Susan and Bill Parham. You will know what you want built by the end of the conversation and you will have a waranteed engine. Ford engines are their forte'.
Mine (427 S.O. 484 cubic inches) still starts and runs great and I'm in New Jersey with 40 degree mornings right now. Did real well at Pocono, PA as well.
    That's my advice. Good luck.

By rebuildable, do you mean a complete engine? Or a good block?

I built my engine up from a 351 w that I bought off craigs list. Paid $300 for it. Fortunately when it was magnafluxed it was a solid block.

I mean a complete engine that has never been rebuilt or bored.

Probably somewhat hard to find a 4b 351 cleveland these days, they were only around for a few years and most of them were the 2b version. Blocks would be the same for both unless your looking for a 4 bolt main engine ( good luck with that one) check the wrecking yards for an old Torino wagon and use some aftermarket heads.

You can always go with a new block these days. It's available in iron and aluminum.

I sold my 2V for $300 it was a complete engine.

Sold the 4V heads for $300.

I did post the sale on the Forum before I posted to Craigslist
