    Markleeville in N. CA

Our fall colors don't compare to the NE, but they are pretty spectacular. A 200+/mi drive with friends in a '67 Camaro.

Up 88 out of Jackson and over Carson Pass

    Hwy 89 into Hope Valley

    Markleeville for lunch and stretch

    Near Sorenson's on 89

Heading to Hwy 50 and Echo Summit via 89 through Christmas Valley

Real pretty. I miss the mountains except for the snow and cold.

Really nice Phil. Are those greenish yellow things your wife has in her hands gloves? They look like the kind of thing one would wear in your car when the snow is on the ground!

Topless is the way to go -- car that is

We get some cold days in TN and we dress for the chill even with our heater (that does help for the defrost)

    Hope all is well.

Hope it is not a live one!

That is what Gayle does wraps something around her neck. She says its the back of her neck that gets the coldest.

P.S Isadora Duncan.. her scarf or boa got wrapped around the rear wheel of the car and strangled her. Must have been snagged on the knockoff... I think in the '20's. Crazy stuff one remebers .....

Nice Phil...looks like you two are still enjoying the car. I'm off to Houston tomorrow to hook up with an old High School buddy for a big Ford show there. Dragging the trailer, but will do lots of driving once I get there.

    Phil,

We still enjoy the thrill of getting out in the car, especially one a long day trip in the fall or spring. Two of the people with us were classmates from the '60's. It's really good to reconnect with old (past) friends. Enjoy your trip and give Becky a hug for us.
