    Battery Box

Anyone use a battery box? Bought a nice aluminum one from summit but it doesn't fit. Any suggestions?

We use a battery tray with a top bracket, make sure it's metal and not plastic.

I get mine from a local auto parts store, you should be able to find one locally.

    Exclamation Another....

Check the local marine supply houses too - I bought and use a plastic case, removable top, with a nylon strap wrapped around the whole thing and running under metal straps bolted down to the trunk floor. Battery sits inside and since the case is just a hair larger than the batt, all fits just dandy. I did also put a couple extra bolts and steel straps thru the bottom of the case.

p.s. - and it hasn't broken loose yet....22K miles, autocrossing, dragstrip, etc. notwithstanding.
