    Detroit Autorama

Maurice and Charlie along with Tom Melia and Mike Delasco are leaving Monday for the Detroit Autorama, they will be showing the 36 Cabriolet we built for Tom Melia in hopes of placing in the Great 8, one of the biggest honors in the street rod world. If you are in the Detroit area Feb 26th-28th stop by and say hello.

Good luck in the motor city Alan. Hope the hard work pays off with a place in the show.

After an inspection by show officials Tom's 36 will be judged in the Riddler class, the most prestigious award in street rodding. We don't have our hopes up too much but it is nice to make it in the Riddler class.

    Update

Tom's 36 Cabriolet took 1st Place in his division. There is a picture of it in the current (March 22 issue) of Autoweek.

The car that won the Ridler Award was basically a nonfunctional, built to show automotive art piece. That's what it's all about. Bling, bling, bling.

It was a fun trip though and we all had some laughs along the way. That's what it's all about for us.
