    wind wings

The mounts for my wind wings do not sit flush on the windshield moulding. I looked over the directions again. Is this ok? Thanks

CheeseHead, they should be flush with the windshield frame. See pictures as an example. Hope this helps.

Looks like the bracket isn't all the way against windshield. See if anything preventing screw from going all the way in. You may need to unscrew, hold bracket tight against windshield and then re-screw without the screw pushing the bracket away from windshield. The bracket should be on the inside of the screen and not the outside.

I had to get a shorter screw as it bottomed out and I didn't want it to crack the glass. Eddie

    What Eddie said.

Run the screw in the threaded hole by itself... slowly. When it bottoms out, it will usually be against the glass. Use your eyes to see how much of the screw is left outside the hole. Compare this length against the thickness of the bracket. You'll know right away if the screw is too long.
