Just what we need - monster dubs and a few more rockets strapped on the family Unique.
Ya know - ya gotta watch what you show to some of the guys here on the forum. Someone's checkin it out and already's saying "Oh Baby Baby -that's for me!!!"
Crazy stuff - still shakin my head and chuckling.

Geary, you have to admit that "Turtle/Beatle" or "Beatle/Turtle" car would be almost as big a head turner as any Cobra
Rod

289 FIA #9152 "The Flintstone Cobra"
It would be cool driving around with a classic "Mop Top" Beatle wig, Stovepipe pants, Nehru Jacket, Love Beads, and (lest we forget) the tall Cuban heeled "George Boots".
"Lookout Austin Powers - your not the only cool cat on the block."
It'd put a whole new spin on the day. But then again who'd of thought we'd still be listening to 45 year old music today. Just can't imagine hangin out back in 1965 and sayin to friends - "Hey put on some real music - crankup the Edison Gramaphone and Victrola recordings from 1920 - or better still spinup some 78rpm records from the 30's"
I'm not complaining a bit but we Baby Boomers did really drag our culture with us into the future.
Peace-out
Geary
PS: The third image is from 1961 in Hamburg Germany. The band was then known as Gear&The Beatles Rock&Roll Band. They kicked me out of the band the very next day, changed the name, and went off to become successful.

Man you looked a little older than the rest of the group, how old are ya know.
Diego,
Just 59 now. The band years were rough. Since 1961 I've aged very gracefully.
(Another great string of BS)
Hey Guys!!
Check back to this site. Some of the new pics are wild.
Charlie: the Baja Blast is for you, man.
I'll take the Germanator for a spin please.

Paul - Pete Best didn't showup so I stood next to his drum kit for the photo. The guitar is a vintage Epiphone Casino so it does'nt smack many drum heads. I do play well enough to qualify for a possible audition for the spot as worst player in a bad bar-band. (Maybe not quite that bad)

PS: OLD....???????
Well ahhh... I ummm.... that photo was taken in ummm.... '61, ya that's the ticket, and ahhhh... the 28 year-old-guy guy on the left, ya that's it, would be ummm... about 78 years-young next year, umm right? And so ahhh... that's why I said old... yah that's it, that's the story. (And I guess that makes the Epiphone vintage, too!)
Back in the late 60's, my mom had a nice Gibson ES-335 in tobacco-sunburst... man I wish we still had that baby. That is a $5000-plus instrument now. And if you know what a kit is, then you must be a player.
PS My 5 year-old's kit is bigger than that one... what did you guys do with the rest of it?
