    302 MSD replacement

I am rebuilding a 1988 Unique. It apparently was a factoey demo in 1988 and at one time had a 427 in place. It now houses a 302. My problem the car has a MSD distributor and I am try to add a Kirkham billet puke tank. The distributor is so wide that it hits the tank. Any one have recommendations for a smaller diameter distributor (vacuum advance) that will still fit under the air cleaner?

check MSD. They sell distributors with small caps for the 351, they probably have a 302 also. (might even be the same dist ?). Why does it have to be vac. adv.?

    MSD dizzy

Yes they do have one, and it's different than for the Windsor...

Part No. 8579 Ford 302 Small Diameter Pro-Billet Distributor

The bigger one is the same form factor as the late model mustangs, where they needed the extra room for ignition electricals.

    Good luck!
