Would appreciate any comment regarding DB Electrical in Gray, Tn. They sell mini hi-torque starters for only 50-60 bucks and I wonder if they are any good.
Thanks, Barry

We haven't heard of them but $50.00 seems cheap.
try doing a web search . a lot of the other old ford and mustang sites talk about Db. Some good some not so good
They have to be cheap China knock offs.....you can't buy good parts for 50.00.

Well, thanks for the replies gents. Since posting that request, I found out that Ford changed to a PMGR starter in the early 90's, so I bought a standard replacement for a 95 Mustang GT from my local auto parts store for about 100 bucks. Easy install, smaller, draws less current, and no more hot start problems. It's working fine, so we'll see how long it lasts before deciding if I really need one of the more expensive Powermaster or Tilton models.
