    Mama Jean

Some of you may already know that my mom has been in the hospital for a week now and seems to be doing better. She sufers from congestive heart failure and was hospitalized because of fluid build up, we hope she will be able to come home next week, keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

    Mama Jean

Mama Jean, along with a few other "Weavers" have been on our church prayer list and in our personal prayers for quite some time. Glad to hear she is doing better and gets to come home soon.....I know she hates that hospital food. Give her a big hug and kiss on the cheek from me when you see her today!

    Oh that friendly voice!

Wishing her all the best. Her warmth and friendly voice on the other end of the phone is much needed again. She makes all of us feel part of the family.

Our thought are with her and the Weaver family.

Heart cath went well, she has a blood clot that they will treat with thinners. Her heart is only working at 25% which is about what we thought, they will start her on new meds along with rehab and hope she gets better.

Seems we are all family here. My thoughts and best wishes are with you too. I can sort of relate to this, having spent over three weeks in the hospital last year sitting on the cardiac ward with a monitor attached to me 24/7. Odd thing was I was the only one there without a heart condition. I'd been hit with pulmonary embolism that damned near killed me. They were controlling my heart beat with meds and treating me with blood thinners to prevent any more blood clots forming. Good part of mine was I eventually did fully recover and as long as I'm on blood thinners should not have any recurrences.

There were a lot of patients there with the same problem your mom has. All of the ones I met eventually walked out of there and hopefully she will too.

It's always good when the cause is identified. I too can relate, having the same condition. It can get better - I've enjoyed a 100% improvement in the last 6-months with a heavy regiment of meds. Tell her to keep her head up and get well.
