Hi everyone,
I have been in contact with The Mid-Ohio School, and we have arrived at the following: The annual Cobra event will be held on June 21 & 22 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio. We are returning to the original, extended two-day format. Cost will remain $325.00 per car/per driver. This is an exceptional value for the amount of driving time and personalized instruction we get.

For those who have never been, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a world-class racing facility located about 60 miles north of Columbus, Ohio, and 75 miles south of Cleveland. It is 2.4 miles in length, 15 turns with some great elevation changes and lots of runoff areas with gravel traps. The facility has a park like feel to it with well manicured grass viewing areas, picnic areas, clean bathrooms, large gravel parking area, covered garages, helpful maintenance group, great food and souvenirs available.

Take a quick lap with former SCCA Trans-Am and IndyCar driver, Brian Till http://www.midohio.com/About-Us/A-La...k?flvpath=1078 The Mid-Ohio School instructor corps is led by David Roush (General Manager), and some of the names include Adam Andretti, Aaron Bambach, Jim Bishop, Tommy Byrne, Rudy Consolacion, Paul Dallenbach, Ben Devlin, Calvin Fish, Elliott Forbes Robinson, Bert Hart, Ian James, Brian Leib, Orlam Sonora, Brian Till and Adam Wright.

Their collective credentials and experience include more than 150 major race wins and 20 racing championships. Among them, they have 38 CART/IndyCar starts, two Formula One starts, three Indianapolis 500 starts, two Formula Atlantic championships, and five Trans-Am victories, as well as NASCAR, IndyCar Series, Le Mans, American Le Mans Series and GRAND-AM Road Racing race experience. Aside from being great race car drivers/ instructors, these guys are just fun to be around, loads of good stories and genuinely nice people.

Don’t have a suitable helmet? No problem, Mid-Ohio has loaner skid-lids available. Also available at the track is race fuel and premium pump gas. Tech inspection will be held at the Quality Inn at 1000 Comfort Plaza Belleville, Ohio 44813, http://www.qualityinnbellville.com/ June 20, from 5:00PM till 8:00PM. Tech sheets are located at the Ohio Cobra Club website www.ohiocobraclub.com under Mid-Ohio event. Please pre-check your car and change your brake fluid before arriving at the track.

The Mid-Ohio School will be posting this event to start taking sign-ups on its website by January 1. You will find the Cobra Club event under their “Special Events” page at www.midohioschool.com.

Feel free to PM me with any questions. Hope to see everyone there for this incredible event.
