    Header repairs

When working on removing rust from my headers I notice saw some daylight inside the tubes. The tubes were cracked along welds holding the tubes together.
    Had 5 different cracks.

Didn't feel like pulling out the big mig welder so I used my little fluxcore wire welder. It does the job.

Great work, Tony! What does the wrap do to stop the cracking?

    Thanks guys.
    Paul,
The wrap does nothing to prevent the pipes from cracking just keep the heat down a little bit from the engine compartment. And according to the experts it is suppose to increase the flow of exhaust gasses that improves performance.
