    Battery Cable upgrade

After sending my starter back to Powermaster, speaking with their tech and the reading the Powermaster istallation manual, I decided to upgrade my battery cables.

The powermaster tech said my old starter had taken low voltage hits. The manual says if the run is 10+ feet the cable should be 2/0. And the hot starts that seem like a dead battery.
Obviously the old cable on the right. It looks like 2AWG
The new red cable is 2/0

The run from the trunk battery is 11 feet so I order some 2/0 cable and fittings to get the project going.

Outstanding, Tony!! Kudos on a really nicely done job! I recall Maurice recently saying that they were having some issues sourcing large gauge cabling... I will need to check on what they are using these days.

    Thanks Paul.
I got those cables on Amazon. It was 25' of red and 25' of black. They were sold together. And the cable ends, shrink wrap and tool also came from Amazon. The 2/0 battery terminal connectors came from Summit Racing

What is the parts/tool cost? Will you use the tool in the future, or is it a one-time situation?
