Let's go cruisin'!!
The next day, Saturday, we assembled in the hotel parking area for the ride over to the designated meeting spot, the Noccalula Falls Park parking lot, by 8am. Don't be late with this crew!!! Lining up at the hotel with that quintessential English Gentleman, Zach!
The World War I Flying Ace, who happens to be an infamous author and Sunbeam Tiger expert, who is knowledgeable on all things Shelby, and his co-pilot!
Then we all gathered up at the falls.
This is Alan Weaver and His daughter Meagan in Dennis' '64 FIA "follow-me" car.
The crew gathering, with a couple of more arriving!
By the time we were ready to head out we had about 40 cars!
We even had a police escort to get us out into the country side! Notice the Sheriff's car!
We cruised for a while and headed out to the scenic area at Lake Guntersville State Park. The view is amazing! Looking west...
Looking north...
They even were setting up for a wedding! Looking east...
The gang on the back deck.
A couple of the guys enjoying the view... yes that's the pool over there!
Then it was on to the Oyster Bar in Guntersville for some lunch! Followed by a dash back to the hotel for a few hours rest and relaxation before the evening gathering at the local Mexican restaurant for supper. All in all, it was a great day in the Cobras and some great food!!
