This is the current setup - dual 12" pushers, also using a relay. They move a lot of air, but being pushers they aren't as efficient as pullers so while I've never overheated using them, I just don't have that total comfort level that they wouldn't let me down in an extreme situation.

Has anyone looked into Sidewinder fans for this application? They are 1 5/8" thick and pull about 2400CFM.

Tighten it 'til it gets loose and back off half a turn.

Now there's one I haven't seen before! That might fit my application with the motor located at the 10:00 or 2:00 o'clock position. How to actually mount it might take some creativity though.

The 16" Spal puller will do the job for under $100.00.
