One proud Dad!
I know this is a little off topic but I have to share this with you all. Yesterday we completed my oldest son's (Cody) Eagle project We have been active in the Scouts for 11 years and now the end is in sight! Cody also wants to go to West Point so we are working like crazy to get one of the coveted nominations. So if anyone has some advice or can pull some strings, I'm all ears
One very proud Dad[^]
Kelly
Clay, I got your email.

Kelly - Congrats to your son! As an Eagle Scout and USMA grad myself, I know you are very proud! Where do you live? I might be able to lend some direction on nominations, info, etc.

Bitten,

My brother (also an Eagle Scout and USMA grad) just left the Army from Ft. Hood to join the FBI. He and I followed a slightly different path than most - we enlisted at age 17 and both received Dept of the Army nominations. A GREAT place for you to start is with the local West Point Parents Club to get information about how they received nominations, learn about the Academy, etc..

Congragulations Kelly to you, your son and the whole family. I know how much work is involved from both sides. It is definetly a full effort from everyone in the family. I am also an Eagle Scout and in the middle of trying to get my son through to his. Great job and good luck on getting him a nomination to West Point.

Wow! Eagle scout and going to the academy. Are you sure this is YOUR offspring
I was in scouts and was going to the Air force academy. Then latter portion of puberty hit hard and all that was out the door!
You have got to be proud! I would be pleased if I could get my son to bathe on a regular basis[V]
