    wiper transmission

my passenger side wiper gear skips. if i try to rotate post where wiper arm attaches, it seems to engage but when i run motor i can stop the post from rotating with 2 fingers in either direction and i can feel gears slipping. there does not appear to be any adjustment other than bending the tab in the center of the gold bracket. am i missing something or is it a defective gear? parts are all new. tony didn't you have this problem?

Remove the bracket and bend the rounded part so it pushes the drive cable closer to the gear, I had problems with one a couple weeks ago and that fixed it.

Same thing happened with one of mine. Did the same thing Alan did and it fixed it. Just a pain because I had my dash in already.

    Thumbs down Not Me

Anal maybe, but not that anal........

The brushed silver look goes well with the dark red.
