Howdy -- rookie just saying hi

    Howdy,

Alan and Maurice tell me that my 427'll be here in about a weeks time, so I thought I'd introduce myself. Thanks already to a few people who have helped me through this decision and birthing process!

Looking forward to chatting with y'all..

welcome, i'm at the tail end of my build and found this forum and the weavers to be a great help. the manual only takes you so far because every car varies but the support here will get you home. use the search first because a lot of topics have been covered. but if you don't see your answer just ask. jim o

Great to hear! My car was delivered 8 days ago, and I hope to make it to the Austin event as well. Looks like Unique will be well represented this year.

    Smile Wiper Arm Adjustment

    Alan,

Might need a little adjustment on the passenger side windshield wiper arm!
Other than that, it looks real good.

Hmmmm Alan...Is that big giant black streak on the pavement in front of the car part of the test drive? Looks like fun.

The glove box was tough to make work, the car has a heater and a new style wiper motor so there was very little room. Rick, I adjusted the wiper arm as soon as I got back to the shop.

    Ross:
Nice ride! Very authentic looking. I think if I had a 427, I'd want it to look just like yours.

    Talking Welcome

    Nice car Ross.
Looks like you'll just have to jump in and turn the key.
Texas weather should be great this time of year for some road time.
I have to wait a little bit...still got a foot or more of snow on the ground
    here in Canada.
Enjoy your 427....I've loved mine for the last 15 years.

    Ross,
I have been working in New Braunfels this week and may get stuck here through Saturday (hope not), but if so I may stop over in Austin to see some friends. Anyway, If you are out driving your car around on Saturday I would like to take the opportunity to meet up with you and take a look at your new car if you have time.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up making it home late last night from New Braunfels. The server we were waiting on finally made the 2 month Journey from Pflugerville, which allowed me to finish my network install.
So, back to working on my car this weekend

    Thumbs up

I really like the color "Blue" that you painted your car! I was leaning towards blue but finally decided to go with 1966 Ford Candy Apple Red with Wembelton White Stripes!

It looks like you just have to fill the tank and GO!

I'm getting close to the end of my build and I can tell you it's been a Blast!

    Have Fun!
