    seat similarities

Quick question to the forum. I have an '86 Unique 427 body style and I am making the front seat more comfortable. In removing the driver's side seat cushion from the rest of the seat, I noticed "Pass" marked on the piece of plywood that is laminated to the fiberlass bottom. Are the seats (especially in older Uniques) identical side to side or are they set up to be specifically placed one side or the other? Part of the problem I am having is that the driver's side seat has a gap between the seat back and the back of the vehicle even when the seat is placed as far back on the tracks as possible. Passenger side appears to be closer to the back of the vehicle. Would seats "fit" differently one side to the other? In other words, would I get a mis-fit by having the "passenger" side seat on the driver's side? Thanks, Chris

Both sides are the same, lean the seat back by placing a block under the front bolts, that will close the gap.
