We have a red car with a small block that turns better 1/4 mile times than both cars in the video.

I'm not sure I get the point when they changed the axles, tires and wheels on the SS then claim that it's faster. Seems like a skewed contest.
Alan - I know cars that run faster as well

It's all about promoting what you can buy today, and Shelby if full of it.
The Cobra looked and sounded slow, never hit the power band just right. So I think the gear was way to tall for the road course and the dragstrip.
I think we have several 427's around that would eat that ones lunch.
And your right if Shelby say's its so it is!!!!!!
