I'm planning to do a "spring cleaning" on my Unique and run through it from end-to-end. Casaleenie previously asked the question of what are the things to look for - tighten bolts, etc. I was looking for a more specific list since I purchased the car complete and don't have the build experience. So, I went to my trusted Unique builder (Bruce Botti - thanks!) and he recommeded the following starting points. What do you have to add???

1. Make sure everything is tight.
2. Grease each fitting just a few pumps with a hand
(not air) grease gun. I have found that on the upper
and lower wishbones in the front, that you may have to
loosen up the grease fitting one turn to get the
grease to go in. This may not be necessary.
3. Jack up each wheel and grab it at 3&9 o'clock and
then 12&6 o'clock. Shake it to make sure they have
only slight play.
4. Check for leaks.
5. Top up the brake and clutch master cylinders.

A common problem is the header bolts will loosen so you will need to check them, also check the set screws on the steering joints, you will have to loosen the nuts then tighten the allen head screws, this needs to be checked every 1000 miles or so.
