I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel. My body is almost ready for primer. All of the margins are complete as is the sanding. The underside of the trunk has been wiped as well as the hood, doors are next. I fabricated and bonded the hood scoop extensions but still need to do the final shaping and filling, I'm doing it from memory and a few photos.

I started my project using an inexpensive light weight filler that was ok but have since discovered Rage Gold. It is worth every penny plus some, this stuff is GREAT. The attached photos are not very good but give you an idea of the process I used on the hood and trunk.

If you are sanding by hand you probably don't have any finger prints left, it looks like you are coming along fine. Have you decided on a color or are you still looking. Clyde emailed today and said you are going with 16" wheels, that will look great, keep the build photos coming.

Alan, Hand sanding is what I've done on most of it and I have enough fingers left to be able to type. David Lee let me borrow his mouse sander and it is making the hood work better.

I bailed Clyde out and bought his 16's so he can get 15's.

I'm still leaning toward silver with black full lenght stripe 1" narrower than the SC, in fact I would like the color code for the silver 289 car at your shop.

Does the hood scoop extension look right? I know I need to shape it and flare it more but what about the height and lenght?
