Your paint job looks nice, did your painter undercoat the bottom, if not now is the time. I hope you finish in time for SAAC, if you need anything just let me know.

Eric, if you grind a little off of the corners of the plenum flange where it mates up with the heater it fits much better. Then use some self sticking foam to seal it off. Layout and drilling the holes is a pain, I used a dremel to drill little pilot holes and then drilled from inside the footbox. My right angle drill wouldn't fit on top.

The paint looks great, makes me wonder if I should have gone red instead of silver.

Eric,

Just got mine painted and its Ford 1966 Candy Apple Red, with Ford Performance White Stripes. Will have to check my paint code. I know Murfreesboro well, I am a MTSU Grad.
Grew up in Nashville and moved to the Louiosville area in 1985. Hope to meet you at SAAC in May. My car is 80% done, how about you, are you going to make it?

I'm about 95% finished with about 16 miles on it.Went to get gas Sunday before church with my Dad and thought we ran out going over I 24. But came to find out when I hit some rough pavement it movet my rear float level real high {lock screw was loose}and was pumping a gallon of gas a min.Had to trailer it home from truck stop.I supose this is what makes life fun [?].I need to set my float level now .Besides that and other little bumps it's all going fine.
I hope yours is going well.

Eric

I look forward to meeting you at SAAC.

Eric,

Sounds like you are there, I am going to work hard to make it. I will trailer it down even if unfinished. I can always work on it at SAAC. No, just kidding. Wanted to get at least 200 miles on mine before having a full 4 wheel alignment by a indepent rear suspension expert. See you there.

Eric your car is stunning, hope mine turns out half as well. I would love to stop by and check it out, I drive from Atlanta to Ft Campbell at least twice a month and could make a pit stop at Murfreesboro.

Eric,
The car looks terrific, it is sitting really nice and level. Put mine on the road last Sat. for 7 miles. Just a little shake down run and the carpet is about half done. It will be at the last minute but will make the trip to SAAC. Look forward to seeing another RED car there.
