My Unique has rods running forward from the lower arms of the Jag IRS but I have noticed the new ones have them running rearward. Why was the change made? Would it be of benefit to do it to mine? The bolt on the arm where the spherical bearing fits was extra long and there was rubber both sides of the bearing on the bolts. Should this be allowed to slide side to side on the bolt or not?
Thanks
Rick

Good question Rick
My 427 is the same..older..1991
Has the single forward links.
I'd be interested to see a response from someone on that issue.

You both would better off to make the up grade to the rear trailing arms. They keep the rear suspension from binding up. With the forward arms at full travel they tend to pull the axle forward. The change is not hard to do.

I need to do this too. What would this upgrade cost?

Okay...let's try this. How much for the parts to do the conversion?

Rick, Rich,& Mike;
The cost of the parts to do the rear trailing arms is $325.00. It is an easy conversion, 1 pice has to be welded on the rest is bolt on.
