beautiful car! I like that blue, it will really be set off with the chrome and aluminum pieces.
I picked my body up from the painter 2 weeks ago so I know how you feel.
Congrats!!
The end is closer.

the wheels are purchased from unique, compmotive i think is what they are called, not real knockoffs.

the paint scheme was "copied" from Dan Gurney's car.

I like the stripes, something a little different. At least from this point on most things added to the car will stay on the car. The assemble the dis-assemble routine is very time consuming. You will be ready for the Cobra get together at Unique next year.
Looks great!

dmiller,

Are the stripes opposite of Gurney's car, or is your picture mirrored?

i think they have the same orientation, from rear-low to forward-high angle both sides, the gurney photo has the car moving left to right(starboard side), my car photo the car is "moving" right to left (port side)

the degree of angle may be a little more steep on my car, but that was dictated by the location of the brake vents on the fenders.

regardless, too late to change.

Not necessary, just curious. The car looks great. You'll have it on the road before you know it!
