Is there a way to modify the non-canceling signals to make them self-canceling? Has anyone else done this successfully? It sure would save some embarassing moments. [:I]

Keith,
Maybe your luck is better than mine. I did a serch and couldn't find the post. It is very easy to make them self-cancelling. Pull the steering shaft back (you don't have to take it all the way out). You will see a rollpin below the steering wheel adapter. Drill a 1/4" hole 1/2" above that(center to center) about 1/4" deep. Drive in a 1/4" rollpin leaving 3/8" sticking out. When you put the shaft back in point the new rollpin at the turn signel handle(you may have to reposition the steering wheel)

I followed the directions on this site and it works great, tried to convience Alan and Maurice to do it on all cars as the turn signals are set up for it.

Completed the mod this weekend. I posted a thread on Club Cobra about it (Shop Talk Forum) since this site was down. The fix was very easy and definitely worth the minimal effort. Thanks guys.

When you guys take the column apart make sure you put a little white grease on the bushings of the shaft. It will squeek ALOT.
