Brent,
The aluminum panels look realy good. I'll bet you will have a lot of offers from others for you to make them some.

Thanks poorboy.

Tonight I will replace all of the clecos with s.s. button head machine screws and try to get the master cylinders and overflow tank bolted on.

I love this $hit. (-:

Looks VERRY Good, are you leaving an air-gap behind the aluminum panels on the foot boxes to serv as insulation ?

Jerry,
In an old post I sent pictures of the insulation I put on the footboxes, you should be able to go back and look at it. I used the thermo-tec foil backed insulation and the "sticky stuff" adhesive to install it. They make the insulation in smaller sheets with the adhesive already on it, however, some people were not happy with it staying in place. I also have insulation to go on the inside of the car under the carpet. It is called "super insulator mat" and it is avail. from Jegs or Summit.

Thanks,
Brent

brent, your sheet metal fabrication looks great. i did quite a bit of it on my car (firewall, footboxes, trunk, front cowl, everything under the car except the 4 fenderwells) and it was well worth the time. and the cost is next to nothing if you can do your own fabrication. keep up the good work. are you going to do the trunk next? later brian

Cork works well as an insulator between the heat shields and footbox. Get a roll of it almost anywhere and it's cheap. I used the heat shield insulation under the carpet.
