<img src=images/icon_speech_wow.gif border=0 width=23 height=15 alt=Insert Speech Icon: Wow!> Patrick is quick. Go to the top menu bar and click on "About", then click on "Contributions to UniqueCobra.com". There you will find a message from Patrick, which follows -

I started this site in mid 2002 as a means for owners of Unique replicas to meet and share ideas. The site has become a huge success and I am pleased to see as many members as we have today. The site is and will always will be free. That being said, many have expressed the desire to contribute to the site financially. For these users, a PayPal account has been created as a means to transfer funds. If you would like to contribute to the site, use the following link to access PayPal and send money to pbrown@sla.com. All funds sent to this account will be used exclusively to maintain and upgrade this site.

Please reference your forum user name in the transaction so that I can add the entry to the 'Friends of... ' page

Okay boyz-n-girls... time to pony up :D (I know I'm going to put a smile on his face for all the assistance I have received here). [:P]

Pat,
Thank you for making this forum possible. I too would prefer to send a check via snail mail. Could you please let us know an address to mail to?

I too thought the mailing address (snail mail) would be preferred. If Patrick hasn't posted yet, I'll see what he can do.

Since the majority of us that participate are willing to aid in supporting the site financially, what amount are we talking about?? We really need some idea of the amount needed divided by the number that are willing. We have over 100 members but probably not more than 20 that are somewhat active. Patrick what is going to take to get the hardware & software we need?

I'm looking for deals right now. I was outbid on a Compaq DL380 about an hour ago. I'll come up with a price and let you know.

I'm sure any amount will be greatly appreciated. Personally, because this site is invaluable to me, and considering the time and telephone cost I would have incurred had it not been for all of you so willing to lend a hand - I'm putting a Benjamin Franklin in the mail today, with the pleasure :D:D:D

Can we do a blanket e-mailing to all the members of the Forum?
I'm sure there are a lot of members who don't check in very often that would want to contribute if they knew about it...

Possibly a description of the problem and that any help would be appreciated...??????????????

I just joined uniquecobra.com this week. It is a great network and while I haven't made the final decision to purchase a kit from Unique, I'm sure if I do that this site will be a great resource. My check's in the mail. (no really)
